Colour Season:
Deep Autumn is the deepest and most dramatic of the Autumn palettes — an elegant mix of sensual tones with a touch of honey. The colours are saturated and earthy: dark espresso, deep forest green, aubergine, and mahogany. Overly light pastels or clear, icy tones make the natural lustre fade; Zendaya is often used as an example. It is easily confused with Deep Winter, which shares the depth but is cool, while Deep Autumn is warm.

Linen, warm sand, deep blue-green, deep plum, mahogany, deep espresso
Metals
Gold — especially antique or brushed — plus bronze and copper; silver in darker, oxidised versions
Light pastels can look almost childish on a Deep Autumn — it is easy to disappear in them. Pale pink turns the skin ashen, and crisp white drowns the depth. Neon and clear primary colours also compete with your earthy depth.

Deep Autumn and Deep Winter are sometimes confused. Both seasons have deep, moderately clear colours. The main difference is temperature. Deep Winter's palette is predominantly cool, with blue and grey undertones, while Deep Autumn's is warmer, with undertones of rust, copper, and gold. Both seasons suit dark shades, but they look harmonious only when the colour choice matches the natural undertone.
